Dominic Cucic

Senior Research Economist, Danmarks Nationalbank

Using administrative micro-data, I study how financial intermediaries shape credit, financial stability, and the real economy.

Nonbank Lending

How alternative lenders provide credit and cushion firms and households during financial stress.

Deposit Markets

Deposit insurance, market discipline, and bail-ins, and how they shape banking stability.

Deposit Rate Setting

How household and bank heterogeneity determine deposit rates and their pass-through.

I combine large-scale administrative data from Denmark with economic theory to study how credit and deposit markets shape the decisions of households and firms. My work on nonbank lending is published in The Review of Financial Studies.
